While I haven't had it - it must be common. Dr. M always asks if this is happening to me. I
Thank you.
Thank you.
Um, HECK YES!!!! This was one
Um, HECK YES!!!! This was one of the earliest, worst symptoms of my IC. It freaks me out. I don't have it that often any more. See if you notice a pattern. For me it would be at certain times of the month. Or the day, I think. it WILL of course get better. It is worth telling the Dr. because maybe they can adjust your protocol. Sometimes the smallest change or addition and it will just go away POOF. So do keep in touch. It will pass. Also, don't be tempted to drink less water. That will NOT help. But the flip side of that is don't drink too much water before bed.

Hmmm, also when this was happening I had to go over my exposures with a FINE TOOTH COMB. What was I putting on my skin? EVERYTHING. What was I washing with, cleaning with, eating too much of, etc, just started eating. Often somethign I was trying for my acne, even if I thought it was natural was really bothering me. OFten it was just ovulation or near my period. But I have to say, the number 1 thing that I needed when this happened was a protocol change.

I had this at the beginning
I had this at the beginning as well. The diet resolved mine. But like Mimi says it's a trial and error to see what might be causing it. One thing that was suggested on this forum that helps me is to change up your grains. For example spelt for breakfast, rice for lunch, potato for supper. Also I could not eat brown rice for about 6 weeks in to tx only white basmati. At the beginning its tough to figure out but as time goes on you can sometimes read your body symptoms a little bit easier. Most of the time if I react to something its about 30 minutes after exposure.
This is my most common and
This is my most common and prevalent symptom. It will become less and less until one day you realize you do not have it anymore. Mine has waxed and waned for some time now, but each time a little less.
the diet helped with it
the diet helped with it initially but i think changing my protocol along with my period starting has caused it to rear it's ugly little head. i am hoping it goes away soon and stays away!
