Hi Ladies, I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound......there is one ( yay! twins run in my family and I am terrified of that sleep deprivation;) and a healthy heart rate. My nausea has been less with this pregnancy than my previous ones;) but my bladder is beginning to flare a little more regularly ....specially on the evening. Dr M thinks it is due to pregnancy hormones and should subside around 20 weeks. For those of you who have had babies fairly recently, was that the case? We are doing the combination searching thing but have to keep the JP in right now so adjust....adjust. Thanks, Katie
Great all is going well for
Great all is going well for you! Yes I do remember being scared at the start of my pregnancy when I had pains here and there and an increase in bladder symptoms. The second half of the pregnancy was fantastic, almost no symptoms, apart from the normal bladder pressure that comes with the end of pregnancy.
Thank you CO. My bladder has
Thank you CO. My bladder has been wonderful with intermittent blips and then last week it took a dive and just is having a tough time recovering. I am hopeful it will even out over time but YIKES;)
Katie take heart, at least
Katie take heart, at least you know why it is bothering you (and for good reason!) Less morning sickness is great too. I do think things will get much better in 2nd tri!! xo
If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
Hi Katie! I am so glad I get
Hi Katie! I am so glad I get to reply to something from actual experience finally lol! :)
YES, my bladder symptoms/aggravation increased A TON from about 8 weeks until about 17-18ish weeks of my pregnancy, then they really died down for the remainder. Of course, the frequency did naturally come back as the pressure on my bladder increased, and now I'm having to get up to pee about once an hour at night lol (I'm currently 9 days overdue ugh)... but at least I know this is normal :)
So happy for you - good luck and keep us posted!!
Oh, and you're right - some
Oh, and you're right - some level of the symptoms were kind of always there, but I knew that was because of the JP, which was/is totally necessary for baby's health and development, so I was okay with it :)
