I'm really noticing that now that the weather has turned colder and the daylight hours are fewer, that I am either more symptomatic or I notice it more. My whole body just feels tired, cold and brittle. I drink so much water but still feel like my mouth is dry and my bladder is cranky. Anyone else find that their sx change with the seasons?
Also, I have been making improvements but lately have this constant creepy-crawly feeling along with a constant need-to-pee feeling. It's not painful but it's really annoying and uncomfortable (which I'll take any day over painful!) Is this a yeast feeling? It also feels almost vaginally connected but not totally. Anyone have any insights? This is not a usual feeling for me.
That 2nd feeling you describe
That 2nd feeling you describe is a biggie for me. Not sure what it means exactly. I htink summer warmth is so good for everything- we should all move to LA

Hmm since it is a shift for you I think it is worth telling Dr. Brizman about. I can cerntainly see how cold might irriate things (or extreme temps in general) . We have very cold mornings here and they don't bother me?? And cold evenings?? It sort of sounds like your body needs a protocol change. Just my 2 cents.
If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
Hi Claire! I have a lot of
Hi Claire! I have a lot of trouble with weather changes. In all areas of my body with a definite increase in symptoms. I am very sensitive to cold and thrive in the hot and humid weather of the summer. I have mentioned this to Dr. M and says many aren't as sensitive or don't realize that an up tic may in fact be because of the weather. I get the constant nagging crawling hypersensitive feeling and feel it in the whole area with the constant need to pee annoying urge. Enough to drive you nuts! I want to jump out of my skin! I also get lots of joint pain with weather shifts. I do believe some of this has to do with the yeast overgrowth, but never asked Dr. M about that piece of it.
Weather is a HUGE deal!! For
Weather is a HUGE deal!! For me though, I feel worse when it's warm. I love the cooler months. But candida and yeast typically thrive in heat, so this makes sense for me. I also feel worse when it's rainy. Again, makes sense if it is the yeast that is causing symptoms. This is particularly true for my ears, which Dr. M agrees is mainly caused by a candida complication. Weather is a big deal. It's important to notice those types of things. Really good that you can determine what the variable is that's causing you an issue.
That is interesting
That is interesting Tinkerbell. My ears are so much worse during the cook and cold months and I too am affected my rain and storms. I know I have a significant issue with yeast, but maybe the yeast is happy when I'm warm so not causing such a disruption to my system? I also have a lot of arthritis issues at the ripe old age of 31, wonder if that will ever improve? According to my dentist I can look forward to a total joint replacement of my TMJ because it is already significantly deteriorated.
