Pelvic floor dysfunction

I was just wondering if most people on here have pelvic floor dysfunction, and if so, when does Dr. B say it usually goes away. I typically do OK until I have to sit for long periods of time. Then I seem to have problems. Does this seem familiar to anyone? Has the doctor told any of you when this typically subsides?

But please not that I'm not yet in treatment with Dr.B. I'm waiting for my appointment still.
Are you in treatment with Dr.B?
Anyway, I have been told that I have pelvic floor dysfunction, by a physiotherapist that specialises in pelvic floor. She examined me and pressed and felt inside my vagina on my muscles. They were VERY sore.
I have read that having pelvic floor dysfunction/pain is very common in our situation.
I hope too that Matia will be able to sort things out for me!

My PFD was much improved once I got sugar out and the inflammation came down. I think we may all struggle with it from time to time but learning how to release tension from that area has been helpful for me. Just being aware I hold tension in that area has helped me as well as yoga and other stretching exercises.
