I'm really noticing that now that the weather has turned colder and the daylight hours are fewer, that I am either more symptomatic or I notice it more. My whole body just feels tired, cold and brittle. I drink so much water but still feel like my mouth is dry and my bladder is cranky. Anyone else find that their sx change with the seasons?
Need some advice on treating this rash for my kiddos. It keeps spreading horribly!!! The dr. says not to treat. I've read that it can last anywhere from 2months to 2 years. It's very itchy and spreading. So far I've tried. Grapefruit seed extract dilution. Tea tree oil / witch hazel. Nothing is working. I just started the tea tree so I will give it a bit more time. I'm just worried I'm going to get it! I know this is small in the scheme of things. I think I used up all my coping skills from having IC. thanks xxooo
Hello everyone! I am really struggling and can't seem to get out this funk I am in. I can't sleep even though I am exhausted and so anxious that I feel nauseous and can't eat. I know this anxiety has to pass and I will get past this, but I just don't know how or when. I am so tired of crying. Anyone gone through a really tough life situation during treatment and have helpful tips that helped get them through? I know this isn't healthy, but I can't talk myself down.
What brand of olive oil (NOT extra virgin) do you guys use? Matia is questioning whether or not olive oil is a culprit in how badly I have been hurting. We can't seem to get a handle on things somehow. I have been using Pompeian Classic Olive Oil for at least the last year or two. I have read conflicting reports online about Pompeian EVOO, but I can't find anything about the regular stuff. And I haven't been able to find a trusted brand locally either. Every store seems to carry quality EVOO, but that's it.
I wanted to give you guys a positive update. My 5 year old has anaphlatic food allergies and has had many anaphlatic episodes. Usually when this happens I feel my heart begin to race and I start to have tremors. Last night she went into anaplaxis and required an epi pen. For the first time in forever my heart did not race and no tremors happened. I had a strange peace and calm about me and I really think it is from having a more balanced system. She is fine now and life is back to normal. We had a little trip to the emergency room and they watched her until she stabalized.
Dufour Puff Pastry is very versitile. KIDS love it. You can fill it with lots of healthy things. You can make the following recipe in a mini form as an appetizer for a party or for a snack. We may have this only once every 2 months or so. I rarely use Dufour, but it is a good product and is approved by Dr. B if i recall correctly (as is Filo if you tolerate wheat).
This post keeps cycling back. I know early in treatment it is not recommended. But I have been doing it moderately throughout treatment. I would really love to step it up a bit and plan to ask at my next appointment. If you have been in treatment a while and are having more good days, what did Dr. B or M say about exercise for you?
Hi guys, I am 7 weeks in and currently taking 3rp and half a super 3xs a day. This week has hit me like a Mack truck. I wake up sleepy and have stayed so sleepy all day. I even had to take a nap one day which I never ever do. I am pretty sure this die off and my body healing (that makes it much more bearable). I know we are all so different but I am just wondering who experienced this and how long did it last for you. My girls might be getting lots of TV time soon so mommy can rest.
