
This is an all too familiar story-written up in UK, but, it could be anywhere. I am certain many of us know many women having stories like this.
I think the number of people effected by IC is grossly underestimated. However, it is good that it is starting to get more attention.

Dr. Brizman- Interesting article! What are your thoughts regarding the role of the AMP's that are referenced in the article as playing a role in IC?
I am thinking that the concept that we have an overactive immune system to some degree makes sense and that over time the trigger that causes the overactivity will rebalance as our gut does?

thankyou for this matia...My mother is a big Daily Mail fan & finally she may stop saying "well why havn't i read anything about this then, why no stories of others suffering from this IC thing in the paper' Now If its in the Daily Mail it must be true. lol
