I feel honored to help so many people with IC. Over the last 15 years, I have only grown to love my work more and more and feel joyful that my life has taken the turns it has in order to get me to the place where I am today. I get so much back inside of my heart from all that I put out. And, in addition to my work time, I dedicate endless amounts of my personal time happily.
I just need to clarify that emails need to be very brief--they are for quick dose adjustments or very quick single questions. Please do not send me an email that takes up an entire page which requires me to examine deeply and think and take time to formulate intricate answers in great detail. I simply cannot do this. I have too many people to monitor and be available for.
I apologize if this sounds offensive. For the most part, everyone is really respectful of this sytem, but, there are some emails coming through that are of this nature and the expectation of me in these cases is just too much.
I do not have enough time on top of the time I already give to do this as well. I am deeply sorry.

It's very generous and caring of you to offer your free time to answer our questions thru email. Just wanted to let you know it's very appreciated and your request is not offensive at all. For me, it's 4-6 weeks in between appointments, and when something doesn't quite work, it helps enormously to be able to reach you, so we can change the protocoal instead of waiting for next time! This also saves us from making additional meetings. I can hardly respond to my friends on my personal email, can't' imagine how time consuming it is to respond everyone so promptly and come up with new solutions, answers to all the weird symptoms and changing issues we face. thank you :)
