I just wanted to remind everyone, which I probably do redundantly, that being careful with every food you put in your mouth is very important as you go through this until such time that your bladder is reacting so minimally it longer is critical.
I had a patient who, from the beginning of treatment has been eating Ritz crackers. And, while they seem pretty benign, they aren't. Their second, (or third, I forgot which) is soybean oil. Soy is an unforgiving substance that will simply just cause a lot of pain. Soy can also be masked as "vegetable oil" so, it can be in those potaot chips you picked up, or something else. Soy lecithin is sometimes also in gredients as last on the list. This MAY be tolerated, but not a definite. However, if you see soy oil OR vegetable oil in any of your snacks-throw them away. It is just not worth it.
