Hi ladies,
So I wanted to see what brand(-s) of deodorant work for you. I never really had a problem with sweating but I just started to do so alot the past 3 weeks. I had been using Secret for 20+ years then stopped once I started the protocol lat October. I started using Natrure's Gate brand. A few weeks back, it stopped working. Then, I just started using Tom's brand and still no luck. Its kind of strange that I just started sweating all of a sudden when I've never had this issue (I'm usually super cold all the time). I'm on the fence about going back to Secret which I know is not OK so I thought I'd ask. Or, do you know if we are allowed to use baby powder? Any advice, I'll take... Thank you
Deodorants
Hi, I was using the salt crystal ones sold by holland and barratt but these haven't worked for me..I also tried a mineral one from asda walmart but same thing I have become sweaty and stinky through this process, I can only imagine to all the nasties coming out. I too would like some advice on a deodorant that is both safe and works..
I use Arm and Hammer
I use Arm and Hammer Essentials, fresh sent, it is aluminum and paraben free. Nothing will stop you from sweating without aluminum but I do find this one works very well!
Deodorant
I am currently in search of a deodorant that helps with sweating and the awful odor I seem to be producing as I am detoxing! I have tried many of the Tom's of Main deodorants without success. I just recently switched to Desset Essence, also aluminum free. I bought the tea tree oil with lavender oil. Not sure if Dr. B approved, but will ask at my next appointment. It seems to be helping with the smell, but the sweating is another story! I guess I can live with the sweating over smelling all the time!
I don't think there is
I don't think there is anything to do about sweating or that you'd want to- it is proabably a necessary and healthy thing right now.
I tried to use those crystal
I tried to use those crystal deodorants and they never worked for me. I always read good reviews for them, and couldn't understand why they didn't work for me. Than I read somewhere that you need to rub them way high up and down alongside your arm, not just where the hair grows. They actually work pretty well for me when I use them this way, no smell! Now sweting is another story, but I don't think you want to stop that. You can always dust a little cornstarch on your underarms as that usually works for me. The Arm & Hammer ones work really really good, and it is aluminum and paraban free, however I found out that it has triclosan (a questionable ingredient). It is still way better than most deodorants, I am just a little hypochondriac about ingredients these days.
What deodorant is approved?
Is the Arm and Hammer Essentials approved for List 2? I have not had success with Tom's of Maine deodorant either LOL.
