Last 3 days i have cold like symptoms, along with nausea. Yesterday i took cold herbs before breakfast on empty stomach and thought thats why i had nausea. It diminished right after having some mild tee, tosted spelt and some provole cheese. Rest of day was just tired and weak. This morning woke up feeling better, had a normal omelette, toast, chhese and broccoli breakfast. Was perfectly ok till 3 pm when i felt my stomach turning. I took 2 ear and goldenseal and a quick toast with yogurt hoping it'd stop it but unfortunately it didnt. I took a little nap, tried to eat some rice and a bit of meatball, but not sure what kind of protein is lean enough. Ic diet not something i am used to when dealing with stonach flu. Or die off...usually take just carbs like bread or rice alone and prevent fatty stuff. Also matia suggested ging tea. Do you buy teabags or just cut off some and drink with hot water? I absolutely hate throwing up, dont know how anyone endures during pregnancy should get a medal just for that. Thanks for suggestions, feeling super miserable now.
Dr. B had suggested something
Dr. B had suggested something gentle like chicken soup. Milk based products probably best to avoid if feeling nauseas. Sorry, no suggestions for the tea. I hope you are feeling better soon!

Thank you cprince, thats a great idea, i think i can handle that. :)
I am right there with you. I
I am right there with you. I hate nausea and I hate throwing up. I'd rather not. But it might be ok to get some sparkling water the kind with bubbles and try that or even alka seltzer. Probably would need to ask Matia about that first. I think just toast and or rice would be ok until the nausea goes away, the protein might be a bit much. Baked potato maybe? Something that won't create more acid and for protein chicken broth or mild cheese? Hope you feel better soon. Julie
Thank you Julie. Yes, i didn
Thank you Julie. Yes, i didn't think of baked potatoe. I'll try that today. I've been getting slightly better, was able to keep everything down so far. Thank you so much for the suggesstions! :)
Selichan,
Selichan,
I'm not sure if Dr Bruzman meant fresh ginger tea, but I was taught to make it fresh by first boiling water and then take water off burner and add sliced pieces to it for about five minutes with pot covered and then strain it. You don't want it to get too strong, especially if you can't add agave or anything to it! Hope your feeling lots better real soon. :)

Hi Sue,
Hi Sue,
I had my husband pick me up some fresh ginger, and cut two thin slices and drop in hot water for me. I mixed the goldenseal in it as well. The ginger helped me down it easier, goldenseal in water is really nasty! I really like the ginger smell, i can totally picture adding fresh ginger to food in the future. Thank you for the ideas!
