Has anyone use Logona hair dye products?

Also any info on the brand of henna used for gray hair would be helpful.

Not able to use the Tints of Nature I have been using (I think the peroxide is bothering me.  Dr. B approved this but for some reason I am reacting to it now and its makes flare for a few days.

Thanks for any info.

Hi Breis,
I haven't used Logona hair dye, but for the Nature Tint, i remember reading a while ago that  a certain tint was causing some issues. You can check the past posts on this and will probably see it. Also, on my last visit to Matia, she mentioned to skip the last step, is it the conditioning mixture? as this was causing flares. I haven't tried dying my hair yet, so i am not exactly sure what was the last step...But that the rest should be ok. Maybe check with her next time, she'll give you more detailed information.

She said it was the Copper Arizona tint that was causing a flare for one patient...  http://www.icama.org/blog-entry/copper-arizona

I was wondering if anyone has used Eco color?  I actually asked two colorists I've used in the past to apply the naturtint and neither would do it. I'mnot comfortable coloring my own hair, so I did some researching and found a great website ewg.org.  It rates products from cleaning to cosmetics and their ingredients for cancer risks to asthma risks.  I indirectly came to the product Eco Color which has no parabens, recorcinol, ammonia, sulfates, or EDTA.  It claims to cover gray hair.  If you type in your phone area code on the Eco Color website it will list salons that use the product.  This is where I'm at in my coloring process...making sure the salon uses and is comfortable with it.    I still need to have cleared with Dr. B too.  Hope this helps!

Hi Breis,
i just spoke with a store owner who sells Logona and Palette hair dyes.  I was reacting to naturtint.  My bladder was fine but I felt like I had a chemical burn on my head for two weeks following the naturtint application.  The owner mentioned it was the PPD in Naturtint that I was reacting to, do my only options were Logona and PAlette.
Did you try the Logona yet?  I received more info about the product and how to use it to get good results, but it will take to long to write, so feel free to call or email me directly if you are still interested in using the Logona creme color.
