Natren and Vit C

I just realized that the Natren Dr. B gave me has Vitamin C in it. I heard Vit C is such a no no for IC. Has anyone asked the Brizmans about this?

I am sure they know about it but would love to hear the explanation.

They would not have given you that probiotic if it was a problem. Unless you got the natren that is in bulk pwder and not capsules which has way more vitamin C in it than its such a small amount that it's ok. I know you might be looking for reasons as to why you are dealing with a house of pain but the beginning of cleansing can be a crappy time no matter what. Just hang in there.
If you ever are having doubts about the supplement just check here or with Boaz. I know Vitamin C by itself is a irritant but since its buffered by the probiotics and such a small percntage. You have to understand alot of the typical IC rules don't always apply when it comes to this treatment. For example Tomatoes are like supposed to be a no-no for life for Ic people but Iw as eating them at list 3! Also I tolerated coffee ( thank god) and even was helped by coffee from list 2 on and that is always something people cut out.
Trust their guidance but also listen to your body and take copious notes.

Thank you endlessly for that. I was in touch with Boaz via email and he is tweaking the protocol. I was just so discouraged to go from a 3 to a 9 in pain within days. I am hanging on though. I just know this is the way. The mind has a funny way of trying to talk me into fear and disbelief. Taking notes is good for me. Although I am seeing that my symptoms are all over the place!
Many thanks again, Carey

It is so good you keep Boaz notified of your condition. As a new patient we have to contact a lot in the beginning sometimes. I know I did. I had strept throat too. You will get on a smoother place as he helps you!

I have been emailing a lot and he's right there. Thank goodness. Although the changes made so far only intensified the flare as far as I can tell. He has let me use my prelief as needed but I haven't dared touch it as I want the optimal success!
What I find interesting is that I am having very burny stools which also set the flare even more. I did finally give up sugar though so I am sure there is die off going on bigtime. The dizziness confirms that for me.
So thankful for this corner of support. Thank you so much for writing! I have made a promise to myself that I will post when I am better so that people like me can hear success stories...I will write how I got from A to B for sure!!!
