My daughter really wants to make a cauliflower fennel dish for a family dinner tonight.   I am on list 2 and don't see fennel listed anywhere. Does anyone know when we are allowed to eat it?

Thanks

Sue

I would search fennel on this site and see when people were able to tolerate it.

Dr. B approved me to make tea by boiling the fennel and I was/am on list 1-2! Who am I joking I don't really know what list I'm on? So I'm not sure when ok to eat fennel in a dish?! When in doubt ask Dr. B, better safe than sorry!

Ceb217  - Thanks for reminding me about the search feature. I always forget about that.

CPrince - Good to know I may be able to try fennel tea. I'm between level 1 and 2 and know exactly how you feel. :)))
She decided to make broccoli after we couldn't find fennel at store.

Haha!:) Good improvising! Yeah, I found it difficult to find in my local grocery stores as well! To tell you the truth I didn't know what fennel even looked like when I went searching for it, and I hadn' realized this was the herb I hated the taste of in Italian dishes! LOL! Not a fan of black licorice! I lived a pretty sheltered food life I hav come to realize! The fennel isn't too strong of a taste as a tea! I used in hopes to help soothe my belly, not so sure it helped, but enjoyed having something warm and not just hot water! I think I found that fennel may not be until list 3 from my quick search on it! Good luck finding it in the future!:)

ooooh I LOVE fennel tea, very warming. In my Chinese Medicine book it says it's great for kidney qi :) I'll be glad to have that back in my protocol!
