Hi everyone,

I have been able to have some agave sweetened treats, and love the following:

with a fork mix:

1 cup of tahini

1 cup of agave

1 cup of cocoa

mix in some chopped nuts and raisins.

Put this in a lined cake tin. Put in the freezer. Slice a piece off when you feel like it. It is chocolatey and fudgey, really delicious!

A website i love is www.susanjanewhite.com for amazing recipes without processed sugar. Also some soups / breads etc. that are healthy. Suitable depending on what stage you are at.

Take care not to eat too much of the treats (blog post reminded me). But every now and then treats like this keep me away from processed sugar.

Thank you CO! I can't eat this yet, but I would love to try for my family. I also love the website you mentioned. Thank you again!

Thank you CO!! Did Dr. Brizman unleash you fully on list 5, even during pregnancy? You promised you would update us! How are you doing? How is the baby?

Hi!
Yes i was on list 5 even before i got pregnant. I was going to update once i had news that the baby is here:-) But a quick update now: The pregnancy has gone really well, and my bladder has been great! Many days symptom free. Just need to make sure i drink enough water and that i don't have too many sweetened treats. Mid pregnancy the cravings were difficult to control, and i even had some processed sugar! That did not make me feel good and i worked hard to get back on track again.
I'm 39 weeks pregnant now, so just waiting for baby to come! So grateful and so happy i have come this far.

Thanks CO! Wonderfull news. I hope you take good care of yourself post partum and with a new baby. It was after my second child was born that I really came to rely heavily on near daily wine and sugar which was not good and along with abx led me to full blow IC. Life's stresses have a way of creeping up so take heed!
Congratulations!
Mimi

Thanks everyone for your responses! Really hope for all of you that you make progress too, I really want to say: stick with the treatment! From the start of getting IC to being well enough to get pregnant was 3 years for me, and I cut out sugar/took probiotics/high veg diet almost from the start. So it takes time. I will post soon when the baby is here:-) Mimi thanks for the reminder. Sugar is my big temptation so it is good to be reminded to be prepared!
