Hello everyone,
I am hoping to see Dr. Brizman before Christmas, but in the meantime, I have started List 1. Can I ask how you cook the food - do you fry or keep it completely plain, eg, steamed rice, steamed veg., etc. . Also, what sort of seafood do you eat, and how is that cooked? If you cook food, do you cook it in olive oil or other types of oil?

I cook most of my food on a skillet with olive oil, I add salt and garlic powder to almost everything for seasoning. I make my own chicken and beef stock, and I use that to cook my rice with(instead of using water), it tastes so good.
Since starting with Dr. B I haven't made fish much because I feel like the probiotics make me crave meat more. I eat meat everyday, and chicken. Yesterday I made a tri-tip pot roast I just added salt, garlic powder, and a cup and a half of home made beef stock. Then cooked it in a slow cooker for 9 hours. I served it over mashed potatoes( that I also seasoned with salt, garlic powder, and butter). It was so delicious and satisfying.
