How do you know

I had two days of almost no symptoms. That is a first ever but then yesterday evening it got cranked back up again and then today I had the worst symptoms I have had  in awhile with frequency and urgency that I couldn't ignore. (usually I can). It didn't feel like a uti really but it did feel really uncomfortable, like my bladder was sore and aching all day.

So the question is, how do you now what is causing symptoms to increase? I would like to think it's die-off or something positive but it stresses me out. the great thing is that I had three good days last week and I have never had two in a row before. (I almost thought that maybe I was over this stuff! haha!)

I will feel better once my bladder calms back down. Anyone know how to tell when symptoms are actually good news versus a flare???

Hey Samara,

Sometimes it is hard to know what is causing the pain to increase.  It might be something new you ate or a new product you are using.  Or it could just be the normal ups and downs of treatment or of your monthly cycle.  Have you asked Dr. B about it?  She can give insight sometimes as to why it is happening.  She might need to change your protocol.

It can be so frustrating at times to figure out what it is that's causing the pain.  I've had a lot of good days and bad days.  It's hard to feel like you are not in control.  Read some of Nadia's posts (especially the ones she has written lately).  She is a beautiful picture of someone who has learned to trust herself and trust in her body's ability to heal.  This journey for me has been very much about that also.

Blessings to you!

Thanks Lisa Ann, I appreciate it. It is frustrating to have good days and then have symptoms reoccur. Thanks for your input!
