Ok, so I can't deny my excitement that my cycle is starting to become more regular still 36-44+ days apart, but better than having only 4 times a year at best. I have a question, how does everyone manage their cramps?! Every time I end up breaking down and taking either Advil or Alieve! I feel like I am failing with having to break down and put this in my body when I am working so hard to keep the toxins out! The cramps get so bad that all I can do is curl up in the fetal position and often throw up if I can't get the pain under control soon enough!:( The cramps are already setting in hard and I think I am still a few days out from starting! Oh, I hate the anticipation! Thanks!
I hear you on the cramps girl
I hear you on the cramps girl. Did I remember reading somewhere that you have PCOS? I have it too, and my cramps on my ovaries are killer.. The heating pad and hot baths are my best friend. Heat heat heat! If you're allowed, maybe you could breathe in some calming lavender essential oil? I'm sorry you get bad cramps. Do they usually last long?
Thanks Minnie! Yes, I do have
Thanks Minnie! Yes, I do have PCOS, it down right stinks! Sorry you have this too! I start getting cramps a week-5 days before starting and gets worse with activity or getting anxious! The cramps leading up usually come in intense waves last for 30-60 minutes and seem to release, but the first 2 days of my cycle are constant cramping where it feels like my uterus is in a vice grip and nothing really helps! What we do without those heating pads?! Do your cramps usually settle down pretty quickly?
