For those of you who can have greek yogurt and blueberries:

about 10 frozen blueberries and some yogurt in the blender.

Oh my Gosh- I have a dessert!!!

I buy organic frozen blueberries at Aldi for about 2.99.

My diet is pretty limited (small list 2 with a few 3's) and sometimes i just get into a rut. When I thought of this it was like a revelation because now I have a yummy summer trest for every now and then

Love this! Also, fresh blueberries near me are getting into peak of season and are VERY sweet. So you could blend fresh blueberries with the yogurt and freeze the blende stuff. Also Greek Gods (or Trader Joes full-fat greek, which I actually think is Greek Gods under the TJs label) is a very mild, sweet-tasting greek yogurt which might lend itself well to this.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

I regularly ate this last summer as my "smoothie" dessert - it's so good! I think I liked making it best with frozen blueberries so that it was kind of like a dairy queen blizzard (just goes to show how long its been since I've had an actual blizzard if this seems like any kind of approximation!)

I tried freezing the whole mixture in ice cube trays to make a sort of popsicle, but it wasn't that good - too icey and not very creamy.  I found it tastier right out of the blender.  Enjoy your new treat Dier!

I agree somehting about the frozen berries works better. On Saturdaynight I made incredible spelt bisquits and then I froze the yogurt for about an hour, blended it with the berries and put it on the bisquit like a shortcake with ice cream. My husband was also swooning. PLus, the beautiful color of the blueberries mixed in- Yippee, the simple joys

Me too it's one of my faves, and sometimes I just use the blueberries whole and frozen and wait for them to melt a little and it's just like ice cream to me. Another fave, when it's allowed on your list, is mango. Lordy that is so delicious and all over California right now. Just wonderful with yogurt. Eating healthy and clean isn't so bad afterall is it? Blessings, Julie
