Hello sad bladder friends :)

So I just got started on a combo of oil of oregano, ultra omega dha/epa, megadophilus, and goldenseal. I was having terrible stomach problems which have been greatly reduced by this mix, however the stomach issues seem to have traded places with bladder issues.

I've peed about 7 times so far tonight and am so jittery I gave up sleeping about two hours ago. It is now 3:30am.

Just wondering if anyone else has been on this combo, if the frequency/pressure all that lovely stuff passed after the initial starting period? I just emailed Dr. Brizman today so if I can avoid doing it again that would be preferable.

Be well!

Love

Hi Hannah
The combos are very unique, and they would have a different effect on someone, depending on their situation, and also where they are in treatment. For example, in my first month of treatment, I could not eat salmon without peeing up a storm. It is high in omegas and can cause frequency. Now I am on 1 teaspoon of cod liver oil (almost 6 months into treatment) and it does not seem to be impacting my frequency in a negative way.
Keep track of foods and symptoms, and keep in touch with Dr. B. when my protocol started and when it changes I need to do a few email exchanges. Dr. Brizman is expecting to get feedback from you. You will get more and more stable as the weeks go by.
Sorry I could not be more specific, my protocol is 180 degrees from yours!!

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Hi Hannah,
At one time I was on this combo - initially it flared my bladder but that died down.
The goldenseal makes me jittery as well and cause insomnia and headaches.
After quite sometime on the oil of oregano my vulvodynia flared.
When I needed to Dr B. would adjust the combo.  I usually give myself a period of time for adjustment with the herbs - and if symptoms go in the wrong direction I will contact Dr. B.
17 months in and I still struggle with vaginal burn (vulvodynia) - my bowels are better which took about 15 months before there was any consistency for me with bowels.  But the fact that they are working daily  for the most part is a miracle - It has been six years.  Bladder has been okay for the last two weeks  - not to much of an issue.  I think from what I have read on this blog that I am a severe case - so I have let go of time and just focus on where I am now and the progress.  It has helped in my healing to trust in myself with the choice I made to see Dr. Brizman and trust in her - this shift in my thinking has helped me heal.

Hope this is helpful
