Hi All
Many of you have read of my dispair about this. Dr. B assures me that is will resolve. I have been in treatment for a year, and while my bladder has made progress (with some setbacks) my bloating has not changed at all. It does not matter if I cut out gluten, all grains, or dairy. I have tried all of this. The only thing I have not tried to cut are FODMAP foods and nightshades so I may do that at some point.
I have read that when the body does not product stomach acid (Hyporchloridia) from yeast overgrowth, or when the small intestine is out of balance, as it is for most of us (SIBO) this can cause stubborn bloating.
I have contacted a few people about this and only one has responde back. I am hoping if you have been in treatment for a while or are on list 4/5 or done with treatment that you can comment on this if it has/had been a symptom for you.
TIA!!!!!
I have bloating in the belly
I have bloating in the belly on and off. Someitmes I look 4 months pg if you really looked. In fact a lovely gentleman just asked me on Sunday if I was pregnant!! I said "yes!" Just because I htought that was funny! I truly think you just need to be patient with this. it is all part of the problem and i think you will get nutty with FODMAP etc. Stick to the program and eventually this will even out. I have so many other issue the belly thing is the least of them!! Be glad you are worrying about it- it must mean you're doing well! ;)
My bloating is almost non
My bloating is almost non-existent, and it was an issue sometime in treatment. As soon as I remove dairy, bloating is gone. I am not consuming dairy now. It might be my personal issue though, but worth mentioning.
