Obviously in IC everything is very serious and heavy. It is nice to lighten things up once
in a while. A friend sent me this today and it reminded me of how incredibly awesome the hthe human body is and how beautiful it is!

Many symptoms can come along with rebalancing the body in the treatment of chronic illness.
Often, they can be uncomfortable and sometimes even scary. I have described much of this in other areas of this site and, of course, in great detail in my dissertation, which, is rich with research, clinical experience, and a lot of detailed information regarding my work and understanding of IC and its related chronic conditions.
to check out bomamed blogs as well as this blog bc I more often than not, do not double post. And, often there are interesting points over there that, although are not specific to IC, related to your general health.
I get asked often about a lot if different kinds of beauty techniques offered in today's world of everyone trying to look younger!
So interesting to note, that most of these techniques will really aggravate IC.
In my dissertation I discuss the importance of the ovaries to the health of women and how
removing the ovaries may negatively impact and inter-relate to IC.
Someone asked me to post something on vegetarianism and IC and why I do not treat
vegetarians.
I once was and have a deep respect for those who are vegetarian conceptually. I am a hug
animal lover and myself have several animals.
ICAMA was a vision of mine that developed and evolved over my extensive clinical and academic
years of experience that spans nearly a decade and a half. IT is really now only at the
beginning because there is so much more that I hope to bring to those with IC.
It has always been my goal to bridge the gap between Western and alternative medicines, but
even more so since my deepened experience with IC.
