I ordered all of the Bomasense stuff yesterday & could not locate the sunscreen. Since I can't go back on now & order it because of the ridiculous shipping charges, does anyone have any sunscreens that would be safe to use until I have another big order?..

I really appreciate any suggestions

Hi Amybarbara,
I was told a few weeks ago that they weren't going to be able to offer sunscreen for a while - something about FADA packaging.  if you do hear of a sunscreen that's ok for us - could you please post here?  Also, am I the only one who had horrible problems with the Bomasense sunscreen?  It stained all of my clothes.  I actually ended up returning three bottles to their offices.

The sunscreen doesn't do great for me either...if I'm in shade or wear a hat it's okay but if I'm out in direct sun or in the water for any period, I get sunburn with it. Same goes for my husband.
I haven't noticed my clothes being stained, however.
I asked Matia about this a month ago as I was really struggling with finding something that worked well. I tried getting a really nice brand (Alba?) at my health food store that was for sensitive skin, had no coconut or soy, etc.
She basically said, to her knowledge, there is no other option that won't cause increased symptoms. So I bought it anyway and use it only when I'm going to be out for extended periods (beach all day) and it does seem to trigger a small amount of burning (bladder) for me but I find that those temporary symptoms outweigh the risk of major sunburn otherwise. But I try not to use it much, I still use the Bomamed as my primary lotion and try to stay covered up or out of the sun for long periods.
