Forums:
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give you all an update, after reading that Katie is pregnant (congratulations) and Dr. M's blogs on the importance of keeping this forum active.
I gave birth four months ago and both me and baby are doing very well. My bladder has been doing really well, i am amazed at how well my body is recovering from the (difficult) birth. I did have an increase in bladder symptoms about a month ago, but i know that this was because of having too much agave and occasional sugar. Now that i am back on track and cut out agave again, and increased vegetable intake, i feel well most of the time. Still in treatment with dr M, but doing really good.
Also a note to new moms or pregnant moms, it is so important to drink more water when breastfeeding! I have sometimes forgotten and it increases symptoms for me, when i don't drink enough. Also make sure you get enough rest, so your body can recover and continue to heal (that is something i struggle with).
Anyway, to any of you wanting to get pregnant in the future: you will get there! I can't believe i have my baby now, it is so wonderful and i am so grateful for Dr. M's treatment and the progress i made!
Congratulations on the birth
Congratulations on the birth of your baby. So happy your bladder is doing well. How is the VV if you don't mind me asking? Thanks.
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
CO,
CO,
Thank you so much for posting this! I am so incredibly happy to hear you and your baby are doing well. These are some really wonderful recommendations and keep them coming as you think of them;)
Right now I am having a bit of a tough time with nausea and bladder is a touch bothersome - consuming my normal amount of raw kale and vegetables has been difficult with with morning sickness( that does not just last in the morning- argh). What is your little ones name? If you don't mind posting it;)
Katie
Katie, love. Why are you
Katie, love. Why are you eating raw kale? Blah! LOL. How about some cooked veggies, whatever appeals to you?
CO that is great news. How much is too much agave for you? And how much sugar were you consuming? Was it once a week? A special occasion? Every day? Please advise!! :)
If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
Hi all,
Hi all,
vv is so much better. Itching/inflamed feeling were my main problems, I now hardly ever get that. Like once a month. Then I use a vaginal probiotic and it sorts it out.
sorry can't post baby's name. I don't have Facebook or anything like that, I like her to not have an online life (yet).
i kept making my own chocolate with agave. About 12 chocs in an ice cube tray. Then I'd eat all chocs in one night. Or I'd make other treats with agave or dates. I'd probably have agave 5 times a week. Dark 85% cocoa chocolate (which does contain white sugar in small amount) a few times a week too. And then for about a month I had sugar in a dessert (when visiting someone for example) once a week (so since baby born I can think of 4 or 5 instances I had sugar. So all in all far too much sweet stuff. It was when I started feeling nauseas that I realised I really need to cut out sugar again. So difficult. Any advice?
It is like I can't do 'special occasion' is ok to have sugar. I feel everything is a special occasion. I do better with not at all.
