Does anyone know? I saw a post where someone made a tapenade of green olives packed in water, anchovies and olive oil. I think they were on list two? I know Dr. B does not like things in cans, so maybe jarred olives? What about salt-cured olives in moderation?

I just checked the lists and didn't see it at all. I think most olives, especially the green ones are usually in a jar with a pickle like juice, and pretty sure that's not ok. Maybe down the line black olives, i mean real, wrinkled up, tiny meditarrean olives with seed??...but again that's pretty strong, salty and bitter. You made me miss them now :) Typical meditarrrean breakfast, white chees, black olives, jam and fresh bread with dark tea. Yum :)

I know many olives are packed in water?? Not brine. Also, some are just in salt, nothing else? I guess I will ask Dr. B this week at my appt.

But then wondered if it was one of those individual things. I am on list 3 (but veggies only for now). She did say YES to olives in water. I even found some with sea salt. I was going to make a tapanade for thanksgiving with olives, olive oil, sea salt, anchovies from my local market that are not canned, and dried parsely. Someone said that Dr. B says parsely can cause frequency. Ugh. But I still might try it. Or maybe another dried herb.
I have put a few olives in my salad too. Yum!
