Forums:
Hi All, today is my 4 month anniversary of treatment. It seemed like a decent time to check in. I hope maybe others will check in too, as it is always nice to hear other's inventory/assessment.
Symptoms when I started:
Frequency: 2-3x per hour at worst. 2 hours at best.
Urge: Lots of urge. Urge on a scale of 3-4 out of 10 when I walked or when I drove in the car.
Pressure: around rectum and bladder.
Nighttime frequency: 1-2 x per night.
Moderate anxiety and mild depression, especially at night.
Mild to moderate knee/heel pain, mostly right side.
Current symptoms:
Frequency: Worst (after my coffee, which as we know is a diuretic but oh-so-yummy!)1-2x per hour for an hour or two. In the morning, before coffee I have little to no symptoms. In the afternoon, 1-2 hours after coffee, my frequency returns to once every 3-4 hours, with occasional background urge, but very, very mild.
Pressure: The pressure around my rectum is more sporatic. I used to feel it every time my bladder was empty. Now I feel it only occassionally. Dr. B says this is my lymph nodes in the area.
I still feel some urge when I go for a walk. Very occasionally I have experienced no symptoms when I walk. Driving has improved to about 60% of my short trips have no urge feelings.
Nighttime frequency: I am sleeping through the night for 3 months! Occasionally I wake up and think I need to pee, but most times just fall back asleep!
Mild knee pain and heel pain is improving slowly. More intermittent now.
Now that I have been tracking symptoms for 4 months, I notice that my frequency and urge increase around ovulation and a day or two before my period, I think. That seems to be the trend.
My anxiety and depression are almost nil.
Other progress:
My 3 fungal toenails I have had for over 15 years are slowing starting to grow out. This does not seem to be a linear process as the nail bed is damaged by the pesky fungus. But yellow color has greatly diminished and big toe nail is really improving!! Dr. B says this will be slow as it is hard for the lymph system so work so hard all the way down at the feet.
The inner whites of my eyes were yellow with red viens. For several years I had thought I had sun damage. Dr. B informed me that this corresponds to the BLADDER and that it will clear! Wow. I had no idea. My left eye is getting quite clear, and the right eye still has a lot of work to do but has some improvement. Dr. B says one side of the lymph can get more stuck than the other side.
My acne is under control (Dr. B has approved minimal acne products for this. I hope the protocol can help change the hormonal issues that have caused my adult acne!!) My chest which often breaks out from sweating there, is much more clear without any products.
I am tolerating tea, coffee, tomatoes, and all things on list 3! (Thank you blueberries!)
Die off:
Occasional mild headaches that last 15 minutes
Vertigo, but not too bad.
Hot flushes, but none lately
Cloudy pee
Stuffy nose in the AM (Hubby says I am snoring! Lovely)
Tingling in fingers and upper back.
Pain on left side, under rib cage.
Irritation around ring finger.
Tooth pain, intermittent.
Heart palpitations, occasional.
Anxiety, mild depression. Very occassional.
I still occasionally crave sugar and miss my glass of wine. I sometimes lose all patience with this and have all of the fears I hear expressed on this forum. I keep trying to stay the course.
Grateful to be on this journey with all of you and with Dr. B.
Love and healing!
