Yesterday and the day before were pretty good because I decided that I was going to have a life and do some normal things that involve mobility.

it felt great but today it is the trifecta: bladder burn, knees  in a lot of pain and considerable sinus congestion that makes me feel that I am not really in this world but under glass or water or something.

The trifecta of painful areas makes it hard to feel upbeat so I suppose it is time to hit the Buddhist texts. I am reading stuff on acceptance by Tara Brach. I need to touch down with that tonight.

Just putting it out that I feel like a freak. Everyone else has bladder pain and my biggest pain is my knees!

Don't feel like a freak, I have more stomach and joint pain than I do bladder pain! We all have our own freakish issues!:-P Hoping you have a better day! TGIF!!!

Hi- I just reserved a tara brach book at  my library. Hey- rejoice in the lack of bladder pain! Most of us I think have lots of other random pains too. You are not a freak.

Yes- my motto- Acceptance and Gratitude- works every time when nothing else does!

Just wondering what types of hair colors people use.  I use tints of nature which Dr. Brizman has okayed for me.
Although it is more natural it still has alot of additives I would like to move away from.
I have looked into and have used henna in the past.  I find it turns my hair to dark and red.  I was wondering if there is anyone out there with medium ash brown hair who has had success with a henna product that does not turn it red or orange.  Any info greatly appreciated.

I use Herbatint, I get it from a whole food store and have not had any problems from it, they have a variety of shades to chose from.

Bonnie, you are certainly NOT a freak, in this community or anywhere. You are a true blessing.
My husband causes me more pain than my bladder! (Kidding! ;)

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Thanks Cathy,
Do you find the shades run darker than hair color?
This was supposed to be a new post - sorry it ended up here.
Will repost as new
Thanks

Hi Cathy,
One more question - do you use non-permanent herbatint or permanent?
Thanks

I have dark hair and I did not notice it turning out darker. It is a bit messier to use because you have to buy a tinting brush and a plastic dish to mix it in, but I like it, I was surprised because I really did not think it would do a good job, but I will continue to  use this. I use the permanent one.
Hope this helps

The question is how to live if I can't walk more than a block or stand for mor than 5 minutes or my knees swell.

I hear ya!!! I don't know. We need to walk and stand. There is a big horse show I was to go see with a friend of mine next weekend that requires a lot of walking. Her idea is that we go steal one of the motorized carts from Target and use that to lug me around in.  Now there would be a sight!
