My husband and I are planning to travel to UK and Holland for a week in September. I am very nervous about food/water choices. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for ic friendly steak/ seafood restaurants as well as matia approved water brands. I try to check online, and came across a lot of argentinian style restaurants for steakhouses and not sure if i'll have trouble finding plain nonmarinated meat choices. Thank you so much for any feedback!!!

Hi there, the best water choice for Holland is Spa blauw you can find that in most of the stores. As for eating out just ask for your steak to be plain with a salad on the side. It should not be a problem for most of the restaurants. Whishing you a happy holiday.

UK
Dr B often suggests Highland Spring water, Ive been doing well on it and most people do.  Otherwise I use Evian, or Buxton.  All are available in most supermarkets.  Do not buy Volvic.  Nitrates in that one are high.
Most restuarants will have a steak and chips dish which you can have with salad, and often you can swap chips for jacket potato.  Just ask for no dressing to be safe.  There is a chain of steakhouses called Beefeater.  Most restaurants will have a grilled fish on the menu too, its just a matter of making sure they don't use extra virgin olive oil.  I normally just ask them to use butter to cook with.  It should be easy eating in the UK, at least the language is the same.

Where in the UK are you visiting.  Hopefully it won't be too rainy for you in September!
