Dry Eyes

Hi guys... since hitting a bit of a bumpy patch again with my IC symptoms (it was going so well and I've hit a flare again as some of you may have read in a past post of mine) I've been experiencing quite dry eyes as well. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and knows what it means? How it's related?

I remember it happening to me a while back when i had a flare and that's when Matia put me on Vit D3. It's also just coming into colder months where I live so wondering if the dryness has something to do with lack of sun/warm weather? Compromised immune system? Any insight form anyone??

I'm not sure what it is but I have also been experiencing dry eyes recently! It isn't painful or anything, just a very odd sort of dry feeling, almost as if someone if holding my eyelids open? So weird!
Would also love it if anyone has any insights?

It is a common yeast symptom. Scroll down on this link to see a list of common and not so common yeast sx. Makes sense given what you have already told us.

My eyes used to be so dry. I would wake up more times a night(3x) to put drops in my eyes then I would to pee. They have gotten better w treatment but sometimes I still wake up during the night needing to put drops in. I didnt know this was a yeast symptom. Thx mimi!

It also may correspond to chinese medicine too and not specifically to yeast or bacteria. Problems with body fluids in general are discussed in Chinese Medicine so this might include dry eyes. Can look up dry eyes on Chinese Medicine sites for further reading and a different perspective.
