Getting back from 2 day trip to desert with hubby. He is a saint. This was our first trip using a wheelchair. Trying to put that in perspective.
Have become very anxious about this. Having to use some Western meds to get some sleep.
knee phenomenon is like the bladder in the early days. Stuck! Boy this is hard. I know we are all alone but it would help to hear from you guys.

Hi Bonnie! I have been thinking of you! Oh, that must have been nice to at least get away, probably not exactly how you planned it to go, but you were able to make the trip!:) The knees will get better in time, but I know it is sooo hard to be patient! Just like your bladder responsed so will your knees! Hang in there!:)

Did you ever read the posts patient by the name of IC Hope and her story she posted back in February 2011 called "Losing my legs" a story of hope? She had bladder pain- got better and then pretty much due to a cimple injury literally lost the function in her legs for about a year. i know she was scared and confused and blown but she made it back and while I do not know her situation now I imagine she fully recovered as its been over two years since she even came back from that. Maybe you could write her if you have not? If you already have and I am being obvious then never mind. I am really blown by how strong and awesome you ladies are!

Bonnie... You must be soo frustrated & discourged, but unfortunately this is just part of your journey. It will make you stronger & more resilient & you will over come it all! You have to so you can remind all of us earlier in treatment that the bumps in the road are hard & trying but your healed... & we have to push through just like you did!!!! Keep trying to find the joy around you... Small as it may be there are always positives:))) it will be over soon! You are in my prayers every night:(((
