I have been using Bomasense lotion and I like it.  But sometimes I run out and it takes a while to get some shipped to me.  Plus I like to order it when I need herbs too because of the shipping costs.  Does anyone know of an alternative lotion that Matia says is ok to use that I could use when I run out of the Bomasense lotion?

Hi Peggy! Sorry I don't have any great suggestions. Although I think you could use jojoba oil or olive oil (mild) as a moisturizer. I have seen the jojoba at Trader Joes.

Peggy, I wondered how you are feeling these days since I noticed you had not posted in a while?

I am soooooo sorry Peggy. I am sending you healing thoughts. What does Matia say about your prognisis? I was reading your last post and wondered if you were adding in estrogen? What does Matia say in terms of what your obstacles are? Are you able to enjoy some foods on some of the lists? I pray you have some hours of relief each day?

With some mental and physical obstacles lately I have found the Sedona Method very helful to release difficult feelings and thoughts about my illness and relationships. They have a really nice, inexpensive introduction to the method on their website www.sedona.com (Under $50.00 for the two hour class and you download it) and there are some free demonstrations of the Sedona Method on Youtube.

I also have been looking into a very gental technique that has brough a lot of relief to people with chronic pain, called Intentional Resting. There are some free demos on Youtube and he has a website. It is a deep form of relaxation for those with chronic pain, and it is very simple. I have been finding it useful lately...
Hope to hear from you and ((hugs))

You're sweet.  Thank you for the suggestions.  I don't know what the prognosis is.  I tried estrogen, but it didn't help. I've tried Yoga, meditation, .... and a miriad of other things. Chronic pain is just difficult to deal with when you don't know if there will ever be an end.  Thank you for the prayers.

I hope you will try Intentional Resting. it is really different than meditation. And you can do it anywhere.

Amy, on Youtube there is a nice 10 minute session by the guy who developed it. I think, like any of this stuff, probably good to try it several times a day if you can carve out some time!!
