I emailed Dr. Brizman to see if there is anything I can take or should stop taking if I get it (although my daughter has been vomiting for 20 hours, so I doubt that if I were to contract it, I would be able to keep any herbs down anyway....) Her doctor says it is really contagious
Just wondering if anyone went through a stomach virus while in treatment. I am taking Goldenseal right now because my small intestine is a mess with detox. So maybe the Goldenseal will protect a bit?

Hi Mimi! Yes, unfortunately I have had the good ol stomach bug during treatment! Dr. B took me off everything until it passed! I wouldn't have been able to hold anything down even if she would have suggested! Just ate chicken soup until could stomach anything else! Sure hope you don't get it! Hope your daughter is feeling better soon! Not fun!:(

Ugh, not fun! Your poor daughter. I haven't had the stomach flu, but in the beginning of treatment we thought I had a throat infection (viral or bacterial don't know). She told me NOT to take the probiotic (this is also written on the site...) and she gave me golden seal, ear formula and gin mao ling. So I think the Goldenseal is probably a good thing right now. Hopefully you won't get it at all!

Mimi, a few weeks ago my son
Mimi, a few weeks ago my son got strep throat and I paniced. I contacted Dr. B and she had suggested goldenseal. I did not get strep but a week later I got the flu with a sinus infection. She told me to take goldenseal and some other herbs but I had to stop my regular protocol. I hope your daughter feels better soon and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
