Hi everyone, this morning after my regular breakfast my body is covered with a rash.  My arms, upper legs and belly have red spots that are slightly itchy.  It isn’t the first time I get spots on my belly but it’s the first time I see a rash on the other parts of my body.  I’m not sure what to think.  Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, it's most likely die-off. I had it bad on both my arms for about 10 days early in treatment.

Thanks for your response but what I don't understand is that I began getting this rash on my belly about a week before getting diagnosed wiyh IC.

a lot of things start showing up through treatment that were there before. The body heals each layer and "old" issues resurface so it isn't unusual at all. It souunds like cleansing of some sort to  me

I have been dealing with whole body itching and rashes before and all through my treatment thus far.  It waxes and wanes.  Sometimes related to a flare or die off.
Dr. Brizman will alter herbs if it doesn't calm down on its own.  My major area is face and torso.  Although whole body gets hit at times.  I try not to overthink to much anymore about symptoms and try to accept them as the above or an imbalance trying to balance.  I sure would like the itching and rashes to go away - they have been with me for two years.
Your not alone and this to shall pass.

According to Bruce Fife's book, The Healing Crisis, symtpoms of a dis-ease crisis and a healing crisis can be the same, and as Deir says, as we heal we go back through old symptoms. It is a sign of progress in your healing. I asked Dr. B about a few symptoms in particular, that I have had before and whether I would experience them again. She said I might, and if I did, they would not last nearly as long. Also, skin is one of the major detox organs. Hope you are feeling better. How is your bladder? :)

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Thank-you for all of your responses. Breis, I appreciate you sharing this with me.  It gives me some comfort to know I'm not alone.  Mimi, my bladder has been off for about 3 weeks.  It's been a difficult month with many symptoms.  My period is out of control so I'm wondering if the instability of my hormones is causing my pain.  Dr. B has made some changes to my protocol today so I'm hoping things will settle down.  As far as my rash goes,  it happens to me everyday so I'm not sure if its detox or just another mysterious symptom.  How are you doing?

I had this crazy rash, Dr. M said it was related to a weak immune system. I was working with her for years when I got this so I don't think it was die off, but you never know. It took weeks to go away but wasn't very painful after the first week.
