Cathy I am very, very sorry for your loss!

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

So sorry Cathy! You are in my thoughts and prayers! Sorry, no suggestions for water though!

Sorry to hear your sad news Cathy. I drink Highland Spring or Evian, and for fizzy San Pellegrino. Please feel free to email me directly if I can help in any way. Best wishes, Jane

Thank you all

My mother is aware of highland spring so she is going to get some in prior to my arrival.
I think I will be starving on the plane trip as the meals usually have some type of gravy or sauce on the meat. I think I will have to take rice cakes on the trip and eat properly when I get there.

You could bring some food with you to eat on the plane (like boiled eggs, cucumber, salad, avocados, if tolerated) to eat with the rice cakes.  Anything u don't eat on the journey you can discard on the plane - this is what I did when flying to LA to see Matia.

Thanks
I was not sure if I could. I will make zucchini muffins to take with me. I thought I would have to starve rather than risk eating something that I dont know what is in it.

Please accept my empathy too...wirh a reminder to take care...the emotional and the body stress will be a challenge,  but having done this, I know it is possible to maintain the healing.
I'm just back from a trip and was really glad to take  sandwiches...easy to carry and easy to eat and did the trick!
Mine were mozzarella, avocado on thinly sliced kamut..this was enough, .but there are also other sandwich ideas, like lean meat,, fish, egg.  This and  hardboiled eggs and a couple of broccoli stalks are good to have also, but sandwich alone was tasty, simple and easy to carry...
All will be well!
