I wanted to make a quick note to say thank you to ALL of those who reached out to support me when I was in that unbearable pain.
Drinking extra warm water did help. The flare was UP and down (mostly UP) for about 4 days. I had to take out all of my acne medications. (That is a whole different post)
It is a REALLY lucky that I happened to mention to Dr. Brizman that I had increased the volume of the acne cream I was using. When I initially started to get uncomfortable, we were going in a certain direction with my protocol and it was not helping. After I mentioned the acne cream, we changed it up completely, I took out the cream and we went in a different direction and it worked.
I know you have read this before, but if you are going along ok and have a sudden flare, try to think of all things that could be influencing it. Even small things and "natural" products.
Asking Dr. Brizman for what I should try next if the current protocol was not working, was a bit helpful. Even if only for my peace of mind. Giving the protocol a few hours gave me more information, rather than assuming nothing was working after one hour!
We are lucky to have eachother!
