Journaling for Boaz

Does anyone have a good way to journal to make it clear and feedback on how to balance my plate? When Boaz asks to send the journal via email are we usually to send it daily or all at once at the end of the week?

I made this great journal sheet but it ended up being way too detailed for Boaz.

I feel like I am bothering him as I have emailed several times inbetween appointments but wow, FLARES galore, sleep disturbance, new urgency patterns, strange acne, numbess, tremors in the morning...and all I am doing is rp and super nat now. He took me off some of the things which break down excess.

Dialy diet is usually as follows:

breakfast eggs toast butter or eggs rice and zucchini

lunch rice zucchini egg or rice broccoli and chicken or beef

dinner chicken, turkey or beef  at dinner with veggies (no carbs usually at dinner due to snack in p.m.

snacks fried potatoes + veggie (I react to cucumbers and celery and any veggies or toast that is browned)

Overall since starting (and going off of prelief as needed) I have new constriction, itchy skin, migraines, etc as I listed above. It's all over the place! I've read that this is normal but something feels really off in my diet. I feel malnourished and am craving a green smoothie beyond belief (I know this is a no no) and the ratio carbs to protein and veggies for me is usually 1/2 carbs, 1/4 protein, 1/4 veggies. And I am using ALOT of fat. Not good for weight loss. I'm just so discouraged that veggies really irritate my bladder as I love veggies.

And can we eat spinach? I know Boaz said Romaine is a big no no.

Something isn't working and it is so hard to see patterns. The only pattern I can see is that eating tends to help my bladder and especially eating fried potatoes???

Really would love feedback on this one and also what is the facebook page with recipes? I love list one to be honest but need some variety. Having a heck of a time finding a bread in town that works.

Big thanks to all and really really look forward to receiving some feedback on this...

Carey

P.S. And to top it, I'm not pooping very well and when I do it burrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnns. I read the other post earlier and I am with her on the weird constipation. I too will ask about Magnesium.

My bladder usually feels better when I eat potatoes too!  And grass-fed ground beef makes me feel a lot better.  Just be careful not to overdo it on the potatoes.  I really have to watch myself with that.

I am literally thinking of combining this with weight watchers to keep things under control...my appetite is that of a warrior!!

HI Carey!
Breathe! :) Ok. Everything you are describing is normal.

What toast are you eating? I hope it does not have yeast??

Only French Meadows makes a commercially available yeast-free, sugar free spelt loaf. It ONLY has spelt, water, salt. It is pretty good and you can ask your local health food store to carry it. Otherwise make your own spelt or rice flower loafs (You can also make a quick bread with potato flour and eggs and salt and oil. PM me if you want the recipe. It is ok but the spelt bread is really good:
3 cups Spelt (or brown rice Flour-but whole grain spelt is much better IMO)
1/2 Tsp salt
1 TBS Baking Powder
1 TBS olive oil
1 cup of water, or enough to make a nice quickbread dough
Mix dry ingredients first. Add wet. Bake in loaf pan at 350 for 50 minutes or unitl toothpick comes out clean.
Toast this bread. Yum.

Are you gaining more weight? Go weigh yourself right now and tell me? I bet not. My appetite was HUGE when I started treatment. I ate what I wanted and lost 9 pounds.

Second, dont be afraid of healthy fats. I think 3 tablespoons of fat per meal. (I bet I have more than that sometimes and have not gained any weight). At the beginning of a gut healing protocol your body replaces the sugar you have taken out with fat. This will even out.

If you are hungry, eat more--just in the right ratio.

I have read in the Diet section of this website that it is ok to have 1/2 carb and 1/4 1/4 of the others. Just be sure Boaz knows you are doing this. As you feel stronger you can adjust the ratio back to 1/3 portion for each.

Are you sure that cooked veggies are bothering your bladder when you eat with meat or eggs? How do you know? I ask because you have a lot of inflammation and detox right now so it may be hard to tell what is causing your pain. Try to find a least a few veggies that you can eat. Spinach is not on list 1. HAve you made yellow squash fries? (get a french fry cutter-cut frie-shaped squash pieces) roll in rice or spelt flour seasoned with salt and fry untill crispy in olive oil. I used to eat a whole mound of these on list one.

Are you eating red meat every day? You really need to at this point. I know it is not your favorite. Can you ask a good local butcher to make you some nice pre-formed hamburger patties seasoned with salt and garlic powder? They often have this available and if they handle the meat for you I bet it would be easier for you to prepare and eat it. Ground meat is just easier to eat!! Make some tasty meatballs with egg, dried basil, galic powder, lots of salt and freeze. Later you might graduate to a nice stake as you will probably start to crave meat (CRAZY, I know-but it is what your body needs right now)

Hi Carey. I started the diet about six weeks before beginning treatment and was starving all the time! That has balanced out. I find if I do a little more protein and less carbs (and up my veggies) I stay full and satisfied longer. I wouldn't worry about fat intake. You're consuming very healthy fats and as long as you aren't overdoing carbs you should be fine.

My fave veggies that don't seem to cause flares are zucchini and broccoli. I steam or sauté them and toss with butter and salt.

CArey wanted to adjust my post to say only use 1 teaspoon of baking soda in the bread recipe. And that it is ok to eat 1/3 of each portion and eventually you want to lower the protien and carbs to 1/4 and the veggies to 1/2. I don't always do this exactly but do watch the carbs. Having been vegan this will be a challenge for you but very important for healing

Hello Carey, This is how I journal for Boaz. I do it once per day. It is clear and understandable:
Herbs: RP x3 Supra x3 Siberian x3
Food: Breakfast: Rice cake with eggs
Lunch: Turkey cabbage roll with rice
Dinner: Bison roast with cauliflower puree
Symptoms:
Some burning, gas, itchy, pain not bad, 2-4
This is just an example. It varies day to day, week to week.
He likes this way of communication and will be able to respond better because it's easy to read.
Love and Light!
J

Very helpful thank you. Do you send our journal to baoz daily? I am doing it more simply now. And Mimi thank you.i am eating red meat now almost every day.lots of ground meat and yesterday had it twice. Feels ok. At times ai feel malnourished because raw foods are difficult for me especially salad but I will get there. The weight thing is obviously bothering me. I weigh exactly the same after three weeks but I am we'll 30 lbs over my normal weight which is uncomfortable. I am surrendering to this process though. I know it's right! And to be honest I love the diet so far. Feels like comfort food! Yeah!

Hey there,
Just wanted to correct my post on journaling for Boaz:
Herbs:
1 Siberian x3 daily
1 supra x3 daily
1 RP x3 daily
I actually was doing it this way and got lazy and started forgetting to put 1 before herb. It was confusing. So above is the best way to do it.
Also, he reminded me today that you ALWAYS always take herbs and probiotic at the same time.
Yes, he likes to have it every day. If I forget, I e-mail him with two days of info.
Love and light,
J
