With gardening season right around the corner, I'm wondering what sunscreen people use. Boaz said they don't sell a sunscreen but perhaps have something that would suffice. I'd really like to buy something locally or online. He did say he would review any product that I could provide a website for. I'm very fortunate in that I don't react to creams, lotions or smells. What sunscreen do you put on your children? It would seem that if it's safe for our children, it might be ok for those of us who aren't quite so sensitive. Thanks for everyone's input!
PS: Isn't it nice to be talking about sunny days after the winter most of the US has had:)

Hey There, EWG.org has a great resource guide to safe sunscreens. My family and I used Badger last summer and I did not have a problem with it. It is wonderful to be talking about sun.....this has been one heck of a winter! Katie
Katie, thanks for the advice!
Katie, thanks for the advice! I checked out the EWG website. What a great resource. It's a lot of info to take in at once.

Katie or anyone else- How do you use the info on the EWG site? I always htought we need to be more careful than the average person because we react weirdly to even natural ingredients. Do you look at that and then run it by Dr B?
Hey Deir, Yes, that is
Hey Deir, Yes, that is exactly what I did. I found the top three options from EWG then ran those ingredients by Dr B. I do not use sunscreen often, but when we went to the beach, Badger is what I used;)
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Call the office and ask Lynn
Call the office and ask Lynn or Raquel about options. I use the said non "sunscreen" from Bomamed and it had worked great for me. It leaves a white residue, but has done great on my very fair skin from burning to a crisp. Also search on this site someone posted a recipe for making sunscreen, if I remember correctly. Bring on spring, sun and warm weather!!! I am so over winter!

For my kids I use a product I found through EWG that has very few ingredienets and I plan to use this for myself after treatment but it does have vitamin E in it so not sure if it is safe during treatment but it is called Green Screen. It is fantastic and has a great rating. I use my mineral makeup which has zinc in it and I wear a hat. For skiing I wore my mineral makeup and covered up really well with neck scarf and hat. What a pain. I also worry about acne breakouts with all of this Cr*p that is in the sunscreen that can really clog if you are acne prone so I have just stuck with my mineral makeup. Look at Sun Solutions or similar website for clothing and hat options too.
If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
