I was feeling better today than usual and then noticed I had a small amount of bleeding. It is only 17 days after my cycle and seems to be coming from my urethra. I would say it is about the size of a quarter and lighter than the blood during my menstral cycle (sorry to be frank). Should I go in to see if I have an infection or is this normal for someone with IC? I haven't had blood like this from my bladder in the past.

I had a bit of blood mid cycle and I chalked it up to the change in protocol. I've also had an early period and a late period due to changes in protocol. I would just e-mail Matia!!

mid cycle bleeding
I have had mid cycle bleeding coming into IC and during the first few months of treatment. I think it was a sign of my imbalance. Sometimes it's hard to tell where the blood is coming from. I would moniter it closely. Do you notice anything on your underware? Do you feel like you're getting a UTI? I've had several UTI'S. You feel an "all over" fatgue and you may have fever with chills. If it's a UTI the infection will increase very quickly. I would contact Matia. One time, after having 4 UTI's in a row, I felt like I was starting another. I went to my Urologist to get tested. I had blood and pus in my urine. I emailed Matia and she asked me to describe actually how I was feeling. In the end she thought it was die off and I waited it out. It was fine in the end. It was die off. Crazy! Hope this helps. Tammy
Bleeding
It turned out to be bleeding from my vagina. (mid cycle). I have never had this before and was so relieved that it was not from my bladder:D I am starting to make progress.
