Probiotics gone bad?

This happened to me with my last bottle of Megadophilus, when i try to open it in the water, it stays as clumps on top and it won't blend no matter how much i stir. I end up pressing them to the side of the glass and need to drink with additional water to make sure i get it all. I didn't have this issue with my previous megadophilus. Called Natren customer service. They asked the date, which is good, the temperature, which i use it out of refrigerator as well as room temperature for my lunch dose, is still the same. If they go bad, they are supposed go tan color, it's not exactly chalk white, but i think the color is ok too. Did any of you have this problem? I think i am just going to buy another bottle and compare.

Hi Veronica, yes i tried a few more and they are the same. it's just weird why this batch won't mix in well with water...i don't mind to drink it with clumps using more water...just wanted to make sure though. Thanks for your reply, i feel less concerned about it now, since you had this problem too. Is it always like this for you? or on some bottles/pills?

Hi! No is not always like that. It has heppened with some capsules of the same bottle but the rest were normal. i thought it was kind of weird too but since the rest were ok i just forgot i guess. Have you asked Matia? It is always better to be sure. I think they are ok but maybe she knows better!! I didnot know that when they changed colors they were bad. I always see them completely white. What color do they have when no ok??

I spoke with Lynn and she recommended not to use them if they have any weird consistency or texture. She asked if i had any weird side effects, and i told her no but i've been using this new batch since sunday. The natren customer service said if they are tan color, they are no good.

Got a new bottle of megadophilus last night, and the same thing. My husband said it looks normal to him and it's just like flour not mixing with water. As the outside gets wets, it clumps up. It makes sense, and i am relieved that i don't have to worry about a new bottle being bad...

I wouldn't worry about it.
