Tracking Frequency

Hi all,

I just started using a free Android App (downloadable on Market) called "KeepTrack" to keep track of  frequency. It could be used to keep track of different symptoms too. One can set as many item to track as she wants. For tracking frequency, I created a continuous trackable item with 3 values:1 for low  flow, 2 for average flow, 3 for high flow, and set the default value to 2. It is not ideal, I can see some other functionalities one might want, such as differentiating between day and night in the Statistics, but it is a start. With  just two touches on the screen you can add one event. Finally, you can export events in a spreadsheet if you want. Hope this is useful to somebody else too!

Hi Marzia,
Thank you for the suggestion, i'll look into this app. i recently started keeping a more detailed journal using google documents. The nice thing is that it's accessible from any computer, so i can fill my log at work or at home. I made a spreadsheet with  details like urgency, urine color, smell, pain levels, and most helpful to me is the history section in between meals where i can record any additional info i.e if i had tried a new product. The timeline helps me understand the symptoms in relation to what i ate or used.

Could you tell me if their was a particular part of the Google document that you used? I have been recording my symptoms in a journal.  It takes forever to look through the journal and track symptoms.  Especially ones that are related to changes in food or diet.  Is their a program where you could type something in like "avacodoes"  and the records would pull upfor times when you ate that particular food?

Hi veryhappymom,
Just sign in to your google account, then on the top navigation, go to more >documents to create a spreadhseet. Excel works better, but this being online is easier to modify from any computer. I used to write my symptoms in a journal, then had to study them for at least 1/2 hour before seeing matia to see any consistencies, or problems. When you make your excel spreadsheet, you can prepopulate cells with options like frequency, urgency, pain levels and just put an X next to that cell for each day. I also checked the search option, still not sure how effective it is but, there is a find and replace option under Find. If you type the word like "avacado" it should highlight the cell that has that word so it'll take you to that instance. It's not perfect but it's a start.:)

I Use a blank printable editable calendar from wincalendar.com, and each day I use a color scale to visualy help with the symtoms. blue , green, yellow, orange and red( being red the worst and blue symptom free)
I pre write the Period days, ovulation days etc. and I leave space to add any changes.
