Hi Ladies,

This is a question I have been wondering from some time.... What ailments did you have when you began with Dr. Brizman?

IC is revealing itself to be a bunch of imbalances in my body... not just the bladder and I am wondering how many of us "just" had bladder problems (which is enough in and of itself, thank you) but also experienced other symptoms.

This question evolved because I was talking with my husband and we were assessing how treatment is going after three months. I am on day 11 (fingers crossed) of relatively little bladder discomfort... woohoo! but I have been having other issues with my heart and arms/muscles. So, I began writing down what ailments/die off I have been having and it seems to be helping me track my progress. Have you experienced imbalances with other organs/systems or "only" the bladder?

Here's to progress!

Thanks Ladies,

Katie

I'd say when I started I had IBS (had had this for about eight years on and off) and I think vulvodynia - at least, I had external irritation and discomfort. Have had some muscle twinges going through treatment but nothing too bad. IBS was HORRENDOUS for months though - terrible diarrhoea. That's improved loads over the last month.

My die off has been manageable - a couple of weeks of vertigo, sore throats on and off, spots and VERY sticky eyes!

I've never had anything but bladder symptoms. This suprises me since so many of you seem to suffer from so many other things.

Sarah- I had no idea sticky eyes could be a part of this.. I have had that on and off too! Soooo glad the IBS is getting better.. it sounds as though you are making real improvement;)
Christine- For many years I had only bladder symptoms. In fact, when I first started to read this forum I had the same response as you to what others are going through. How fortunate that you found Dr. B so close to presenting with IC. Glad you are doing well;)
