Tylenol - pain meds

I wanted to ask what medications, if any, are recommended for menstrual cramps. Since starting the diet, it seems like my monthly pain has decreased some, but I still had pain this past month, and I had to take two Tylenols because of it. However, I also had a bit of a flare during my period. I'm not sure if it was just because of my period, the green watery foods I was eating in abundance, or if the Tylenol could have caused it.

But I'm wondering if any pain medications are approved or recommended by Dr. B for menstral cramps. Which ones do you take?

Hi :)

I am glad to hear your pain is going down with treatment, Matia says it gets better with time.  I used get severe pains that started before my period and continued to decrease but still lasted for at least 2 days!! Once the pain was so debilitating, I had to take 2 tylenols but immediately effected my bladder and urethra so i tried to refrain from them after then. I am in my 11 month now in treatment and last 2 months the pain has gone down significantly that i can tolerate without painkilles. I hope i won't jinx it but i am very surprised and happy about it.
This is what matia posted:  "For severe pain not related to IC Tylenol or Advil is preferred over Aspirin, but do not overdo this as it is one underlying cause of IC." you can find more of these notes, if you go to the Integrated Approach pull down and go to diet.
