Hi ladies,
anyone who is currently on List 3, what 'hard' mild cheeses are approved? I'm at a loss and figured I'd ask here before I bug Dr. B. I LOVE cheese and looking forward to this part.

I am
currently on List 3, and I just made turkey sausages with a little thyme, fennel, and very little nutmeg. I did well! I want to try rosemary next. I think those are all mild spices. But check to be sure!
Hi Adriane, Conratulations on
Hi Adriane, Conratulations on moving on to list 3 :) Mild hard cheese are provolone and mozzarella cheese. The mozzarella shouldn't be the kind in the water. I only tried provolone so far. I got the kosher type from whole foods that is presliced. That way you can start little at a time. I made a 2 slice cheese toast with tomatoes the other night in my panini maker. You can add spinach or other veggies in it too. It was so yummie, i can't wait to go home and eat it again!!!! Happiness...
List 3
So I did end up asking Dr. B about list 3 questions I had... and under my situation, she wants me to stick with granulated garlic, dried basil (which I never use but will start to do so). ON the cheese, just mozarella. she told me to stick with this until I get stronger, makes sense so rather than pushing the envelope, I will listen to her and wait longer. heck, I have been doing well these past 2 weeks predominantly, why rock the boat? I have started adding milk to the biscuits and to mashed potatoes. what a difference that makes! I took it very slowly though, like 1/3 milk diluted with spring water than will add more later on down the line as my bladder gets stronger.
Mrs A, I will try the turkey sausages tomorrow (w/o the fennel for now but that will come in time). Thanks for the recipe! : )
