Bloodshot eyes

Has anyone ever had a reaction or die off show up as bloodshot and/or red eyes? My eyes have been red, especially around the color part for about 4 days now and I'm beginning to wonder if I should worry that it's something else maybe related to my wearing contacts. I don't have any fluid coming out, so it doesn't seem like conjuntivitis. My eyes have never been red like this and as a mom with 2 month old baby and toddler I'm tired, but not THAT tired!

My eyes are often bloodshot with a reddish tint in the white part.  Matia says that can happen with die off. They clear up but as we are still cleansing pretty hard they get all red again afew days or hours later. I look like I'm on drugs!  I think its a common die off symtom. Like your skin breaking out- I think its possible that toxic stuff can show up anywhere on your body. then again I stare at a computer all day so maybe its just red from my eyes being stressed out too? I think it could be a little bit of both. the liver and the eyes are connected in Chinese medicine! if it was a contact infection I think there might be some other symtoms to let you know but I'm not sure. but yes. I have them red eyes that look like I watched TV all night or something.

Same here - red bloodshot right eye, and also dry eye problem in right eye.

And in an interesting twist my eyes have been very itchy today. I've never had allergies or anything; feels like the yeasty kind of itch, I think.

My eyes have been for the last four days, watery, on and off blurry, blood shot and itchy. Thanks Honeybee for sharing that it may be a die-off reaction.Liz

This has been a huge issue for me! My eyes are constantly red, itchy, and irritated. When I cry (which was frequently for a while there) they burned sooo bad. Like my tears were almost toxic in some way... I thought it was very strange, but if you think of everything trying to be released from you body I guess it makes sense. I do get allergies, but usually only in late summer, and this somehow feels different in comparison.
