can anyone relate?

Hey all,

So for the past 3 months I've been experiencing the weirdest things and wanted to know if anyone has ever had this.  I get this weird weak feeling in my arms and legs that comes and goes.  My muscles aren't really weak rather its this weird pressure, light, tickling kind of feeling.  The best way I can describe it is like when you get butterflies in your tummy, but instead its in my limbs off and on.  Maybe like jelly legs/arms?  Anyways I've only been fully commited to treatment for a couple weeks and this has been going on like I said for the past 3 months along with the intermittent dizziness?  Ugh I dont know, I could sure use some encouraging words, it stresses me out so bad.  I worry about MS or ALS, I've had MRI's and bloodwork that all came back normal.. but I cant stop worrying! Its madening!  My next appt with Dr B is on the 6th, so I'll ask her about it.  But wanted to get ya'lls input.

Hi LindseyP,

I have exactly this - but I have it all the time and all over my body. My whole body feels extremely weak as a result of this feeling. I get that butterfly-type feeling in all of my body. I have extreme weakness (this jelly-like feeling that you talk about), which I thought was chronic fatigue - perhaps it is chronic fatigue (feel very drained all the time) but I definitely relate to the butterly/jelly-like weakness in body and limbs.  I also have a lactic acid-type feeling in my limbs every time I do anything like walk across the room. Weird.   If your symptoms come and go, this is encouraging. The candida boards are full of these symptoms. I had an MRI and saw a neurologist, had blood tests, etc.. I thought it was MS, etc. because of the constellation of symptoms - eyes, brain, body weakness, couldn't walk, slurring, etc.. I was actually hoping that it would be something more identifiable because this is so non-specific and just weird. I've never experienced anything like this before. It's so disconcerting.  My symptoms are symptoms of the disease and not die-off as i've had everything or a year now, and everything started at once, on the day that it all came on. We all differ in levels of severity BUT it seems that most people get there, so that's what I hold on to. This has to be the yeast - what else can it be?

Hello Lindsey! I have had the weird feelings in my extremities as well, but more intense always on my right side. This started before beginning treatment and made me very anxious. I was just sure I was having a stroke. I still get this feeling occasionally, but not nearly as intense and because I know it is related to my imbalance it dosen't make as anxious anymore when it occurs. Hang in there, none of this is fun, but it will get better!

Hi LindseyP,

I've got this - in my whole body as well as limbs. I have severe weakness all over but definitely have the butterfly/fluttery/pulsating jelly-like feeling everywhere, limbs included. Mine is here all the time - does not come and go. I feel totally drained overall. NO idea if this is chronic fatigue as well - I get a 'lactic acid' feeling in body/limbs whenever I try to do something physical, like move! Awful. Candida boards are full of this symptom, from what I've seen. I had an MRI too but all clear. I think it MUST be the candida. Mine is part of the symptomatology of the disease - it's not die-off as it all came on on the one day when everything started (and never left) :(

I'm a year into treatment and things are a tiny bit better. I think I have a long way to go. You sound less severe, if your symptoms come and go, which is excellent news. I am pretty sure this is just canida ('just' LOL), and will go.

On the candida boards. I hope you will be feeling better and better! I am only 3 weeks into a no sugar diet. Looks like I have a lot of fun symptoms to look forward to!

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Thank you so much for responding you guys, I thought I was going crazy. I've tried to explain it to my husband but he just gives me a deer in the headlight look! It's so annoying. I feel like it gets worse when I dwell on it too which is hard because its so aggravating. I'm battling a yeast infection too, I've been working with Matia on this. So I know I def have a candida problem.

I just love all of you ladies SO much! It's so comforting to have a place to go where you're understood and not confusing people. I hope everyone has a peaceful day today :)

I also have this feeling on and off in various areas of my body.. Got paranoid that I had MS but brain MRI was all clear - phew! I just assumed it was part of die off..
Let me know what Dr B says about it at your appointment :)

I had very same symptoms after I started diet, but before I saw Dr B. I think it is something related to cleansing. I was worried for a while, but decided not to go for aditional tests. Those symptoms are pretty much gone now, Matia helped me. Make sure you mention them during your next appointment.
