Flares/reaction for food

I am a realtive newbie. I am wondering how does one know she is flaring/reacting to food?

How do you move from one diet stage to the next? Do I understand it correctly that before you move, you are absolutely symptom free?

Dr. B will tell you when you can move on to the next level of food and no you do not have to be symptom free to go to another level.

I am now on list 3 after 4 months and I am not symptom free. The pain is down, but not entirely gone.

If you do a search on flares from food, I believe you'll find lots of info.  There's no hard and fast rule, and Matia's guidance is the main thing.  It can be very frustrating trying to tell if what you're flaring from, sometimes impossible, but don't lose heart, it gets easier in time.
