Furry teeth and no carbs

Hi all! I am so excited for my appointment with dr. Boaz next Saturday! I have started the diet and chose to do no grains to see how I feel. Also because I have been overdoing the carbs for a really long time and feel like its caused visceral cravings.

The interesting thing is that the day I stopped grains, my bladder got worse? Literally by 12 o'clock the day i went off of grains to the point where I had to take a prelief which I find myself taking in general two to three times a week when symptoms skyrocket to putting me into bed.

Also my teeth have felt 'furry' this past week even before I went off grains (since the diflucan treatment that I stopped) and this unbelievable nausea started to the point where my md wants to check me for gallstones which I don't believe will be there. The diflucan was so terrible I cannot describe my experience. It was like I had to go into gallons of water and grains to be able to even function. I even forgot about a meeting I had at work one day and showed up thinking I was on time. It messed with my brain and I feel like I am still recovering. All of a sudden I was like a diabetic insomniac mess which is not me! Blood work appeared totally normal except a bit low in my ferritin (iron).

But back to grains, I have felt for months that the more  I ate grains the more my bladder improved. And now not eating grains my bladder is going into the house of burn. Strange as usually for inflammation I advise clients that its best not to eat wheat or grains....hmmmm.

mimi thank you so much for your words the other day. I needed to read that part about me being a practitioner and surrendering entirely to being the patient. I have made a complete promise to myself on this.

I imagine that it's because the ingrained yeast is being fed and kept happy. I just wondered if anyone has experienced the same thing and has brought it to the attention of the brizmans?

many thanks,

Carey

Maybe this is too simple but I feel like there is no reason to cut out grains completely unless it makes you feel better!

I second what Deir said.  I would eat everything allowed on the lists unless you are sure it doesn't agree with you. It is so exhausting worrying about food. Really. Dr. Brizman has already figured this stuff out. The diet is just a baseline. The herbs and probiotics and healthy lifestyle are what will heal you. Try not to overthink the diet. And if you are experimenting with avoiding grains, be sure you have some potatoes with the meat, fat, and veggies to help your energy levels. Be sure you are eating enough of the allowed fats too. It really helps with cravings.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

I definitely need carbs!  My bladder would not feel good if I didn't eat them.

Great! Just received replies. Simple, will continue grains if bladder happy. I am just struggling with cravings. Thanks!
