Going a bit crazy

Hi All,

Due to what may or may not be the flu - Dr. M took me off all of my other protocol.  Which, for me, means the herbs that helps control the OCD.  I won't bore you with all of the details of my ocd crap - just suffice it to say that grounded is something that I'm not.  She did tell me that I could take one Rhodiola and hope that I wouldn't go back to feeling like puking my guts up again.  Anyway, decided to buck up and get a grip - did ok for a few days and now am having it rough.  The thing is, if I take the Rhodiola now - later at night - it will probably keep me up....not that I won't end up not sleeping anyway.

I know - just babbling - I thought that just reaching out might pull me back in - it seems to have helped.

Thanks ladies - Oh, and any men that might still be hanging out here - How are you guys?

I get the OCD thing. I have it about my health - it can be soooo crippling. Good luck!

Hi Denise,
I know how difficult it is to go off your regular protocol for an illness. I just talked to Dr. B about this in our last appointment. I get inflamed in the bowels coupled with bleeding when I am on the herbs for sickness. She told me
it'sworse to not hit the bug early on than to stay on the protocol and hope for the best, as the bug can then get a handle on the body and be harder to fight. It's nerve wracking as you try to heal but you will get back on track. What helps me is a bath with a few drops of lavender oil-Dr. B approved. It settles things down a bit for me. Soothing and calming. Lots of love to you!

Hi Denise! I totally get how ungrounding the OCD is. I have had bouts of it for 10 years. It comes and goes and is triggered by life events. Treatment and cognative/behavioral/stress management is helping a bit. I know it is not really a fix as you and I have discussed quite a while back, but it does help.
Have you come accross Joe Dispenza's Book, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself? This book is really, really a mind altering book. You just have to get past the first few chapters. Would love to know what you think. He has a companion meditation CD also which you do after you read the book.
I hope things calm down soon!!!!

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.
