Hey I just wanted to get back with those that were intersted in required immunizations in the medical field. If you don't remember I was got a job in utah the U of U hospital as a nurse. They were requiring me to get a flu shot but I ended up being able to decline it as long as i was willing to wear a mask during flu season. Also as far as the TB test goes they can do a chest x-ray instead so that is good to know. It is hard working in the hospital, but you can do it. You just have to avoid gel sanitizer and alcohol based substances. I wear gloves a ton to protect myself and I bring my own soap to wash my hands. The unit I work on is very leniant but I am not sure how other units would be.
