Pelvic floor exercises are a commom form of treatment for women with pelvic floor dysfunction.  SInce it is a form of physical therapy, I would talk with Matia before starting to do them regularly.

Internal exercises are part of chinese medicine, as acupuncture  and  herbal etc. Pretty much to  boosting the Qi energy for self healing.
I did try it for the first time and "I FLARE" for two days, badly, burning burning burning, At first I did not realize was the exercise the cause of that. I contact Mathia and she though maybe the RP was irritating me so she put me out of Rhemmania for two days, but the flare still going.  Then I ask her about the exercises with Qi energy , Only then  she figured it out was that probably  what it cause the flare.
She did not reccomend them at all. So just incase internal exercises cross your mind  be aware, Mathia do not reccomend them at all.

Before i started seeing Matia, my urologist recommended me to try physical therapy for the pelvic floor. I mentioned it to Matia when i saw her, and she said it'll cause flares and doesn't think would help. She was right, i was getting flares from the exercises, and trying to increase my hold time. One time i was in so much despair to hold it, it made me much worse. I stopped going and doing those exercises recently.I also read an article saying iyengar style yoga could be too intense for us. When i do padahastasana type asanas to strenghten that area, i seem to get worse for a few days after that, so maybe same thing with the Qi energy.
