Just wanted to check in and see if we can post yet. I posted before about this rash I got. I have had it now for 20 days, itches like crazy and I feel like I want to scratch my skin off, it has gradually spread all over my body. Finally no new rashes the last few days but the ones I have are still itchy, have not had much sleep lately. Dr M says this is a great thing as the lymphatic system is clearing out.She took me off everything and put me on yin chiao. I think I read somewhere that sometimes there is a major die off before we turn a big corner, this seems to be true. My bladder has been doing great through this, I often throughout the day forget I have a bladder and feel normal, at least I think it's normal as I have not felt normal in 3 1/2 years. Also I have always had back pain at some point during the day, anywhere from my neck to my lower back related to a car accident years ago. The past few days I have had no back pain at all. I hope this continues and I am on the home stretch, even if it does not it is still a good sign that I am healing. Just got to get through this horrible die off episode, one day at a time.

Cathy, while I am so sorry for your deep suffering, I am so happy for your die-off!!! Hopefully soon it will clear up and much better days are ahead for you. Happy Thanksgiving,

Itchy rashes are no fun!!! I hope you find some relief soon, but sounds like good things are happening. So glad to hear your bladder is doing so well!
Still itching after 4 weeks
Still itching after 4 weeks though the rash is slowly getting better, itching is worse at night and wake up 2 -3 times itching all over. ALso developed dizziness and nausea so DR B told me to take ! mega with each dose and the nausea went away. The good news is that even though I wake up a few times at night I only go to the bathroom 1 time and am having a stretch of 5-6 hours without needing to go the past few nights. ANd during the day when at work I look at the clock and realize that I don't even remember when I last went, whereas before I would be trying to hang on and try to stretch the time out before going. Even though the past 4 weeks have been hell with the die off it has been so worth it bladder wise. Have appt today with DR B so will see where we go from here.

Cathy, thank you for the update. I was wondering how it was going. Sorry to hear you are still itchy but glad Dr. Has been able to give you some comfort. I bet when you get through this patch you are going to feel awesome!!! Good luck on your appt today :)

Had my appt with DR B
Had my appt with DR B yesterday, she said that the die off was a great thing but that there is no way of knowing in advance how the die off will affect you, she said the skin is a huge area where die off occurs and that just happened to be where it hit me. She said I am ahead of the game now and should continue to see improvement. That was so nice to hear as I am 2 years in treatment this week. She just added in a 1/4 of a bifido to go along with the mega, it has been a while since I was on the probiotics. The itching is improving and can't wait for the day it stops.
